สำหรับการอัพเดท iOS6 beta4 ในครั้งนี้ สิ่งที่เปลี่ยนไปอย่างแอพที่อยู่คู่กับ iOS มาตั้งแต่มีการเปิดตัว iOS ตั้งแต่ปี 2007 นั่นคือ YouTube ได้ถูกถอนออกจากระบบปฏิบัติการ iOS6 เรียบร้อยแล้ว แต่เนื่องด้วยสาเหตุอะไรเดี๋ยวเรามาดูเหตุผลกันครับ
สำหรับการถอนออกจาก iOS ครั้งนี้ทาง Apple ได้ให้เหตุผลว่า สัญญากับซึ่งทาง Apple ที่มีกับทาง YouTube ได้สิ้นสุดลงแล้วใน iOS 6 beta4 และสำหรับผู้ใช้ iOS ยังจะสามารถดูวิดีโอบน YouTube ได้ผ่านทางเบาเซอร์ Safari ได้เหมือนเดิม และนอกจากนี้ทาง Google เองก็กำลังอยู่ในระหว่างการพัฒนาแอพ YouTube ตัวใหม่สำหรับ iOS6 ซึ่งจะมีให้ดาวน์โหลดเร็ว ๆ นี้บน App Store กันอย่างแน่นอนครับผม
Update: The Verge reports that Apple has issued a statement acknowledging the removal.
Our license to include the YouTube app in iOS has ended, customers can use YouTube in the Safari browser and Google is working on a new YouTube app to be on the App Store.
